On Saturday, a street fair on 8th Avenue. Lots of food of course.
Sunday: Firemen near the bike path at Christopher Street. People in uniform much in evidence because of the memorial services for 9/11.
Then downtown a little village recreated near Wall Street. 400 years since the Dutch came here. Very delicious little pancakes with butter and powdered sugar. Too tempting to resist.
One of the very largest dogs I've ever seen. Lots of orange and many people from Holland or the Netherlands.
Clogs and bulbs and people in costume.
They had a booth where you could have your photo taken and then transposed onto a Vermeer or a Rembrandt.
